Digital Day on the Hill gives Congressional staff the power to bring these best practices back to their desk and begin implementing results on day one.

Davis’ presentation is titled "Driving This Moment" and will focus on creating, executing, and validating a social media strategy.

Personal Branding: A Workshop on Communicating your Superpower to the World

Davis will work with students who have questions about social media branding as a part of the event’s mentoring station from 6:15-7p.

The Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (WEL) Institute workshops are produced by the Blackstone LaunchPad at UT with support from the School of Design and Integrated Technologies to further their shared mission of empowering all students, especially women, to recognize the leaders and entrepreneurs that lie within. The first workshop, held at the Kendra Scott Headquarters, is on personal branding and how to effectively communicate unique values, skills and strengths to position attendees as leaders in work and in life.

During the event, there will be stations to help boost students’ personal brands from a makeup booth, skincare station, headshots for the first 100 attendees and social media strategy, to free customized planners and calendars. Female mentors from Kendra Scott and Dell Technologies will be present to connect with students and talk about their career journeys and backgrounds. Representatives from different UT Career Services will also be present to share more resources tailored to students’ specific career needs.
